Alexis
Neophytides grew up on Roosevelt Island, NYC, and graduated from Brown
University with BAs in both Biology and French. She spent the next several
years acting in NYC and Los Angeles, but gradually became more interested
in creating her own non-fiction films. She is now pursuing a Master’s
Degree in Documentary Film and Media Studies at The New School. Coney
Island's for the Birds is her first documentary.
